7 Days To Go

Last Sunday we removed the cover from the caravan and the preparations commence. I have been puddling around modifing, fixing and gathering bits and pieces we may need on our venture.

I have fitted out the back of the car with a two drawer storage system, 59 litre water tank, room for our Waeco fridge and Air Compressor. I have had fitted 2 x 12 volt power outlets one for the fridge and other accessories and one for the compressor and other high drain items.

The rough plan is to leave the caravan at various parks and go off overnighting in the car, camping in the tent etc. Evon is a bit reluctant at this stage.

Yesterday we went through the contents of the van, and it is amazing how you collect stuff. Will we use it or not?  Space is of a premium.

Today Evon started loading food items into the van. Cans and packets out of the pantry and food she had stock piled for the trip. At one stage I heard "I am running out of room" I have started packing my clothes. Fill my cupboards before Evon does with the food.
