Lakes Entrance

After another good nights sleep, we joined Peter and Glenda for breakfast. We then checked out each others caravan comparing the merits of each.
Evon and I then took off to check out the area. We first drove to Lake Tyers. I had never been there. We parked our car inthe public car park near the pub and took a walk across the dunes to the surf beach.We had a relaxing stroll back to the car We then had a picnic lunch overlooking the back water and chatted to a couple of locals.
After lunch we drove back to Lakes Entrance and stopped at the Information Centre where Evon picked up information on Marlo, where we hope to be tomorrow night. We then travelled to Metung where we found a nice coffee shop, then wandered along the water front near the Metung pub.
On returning to Lakes Entrance we fuelled the car up, then back to the van. We joined Peter and Glenda for "Happy Hour" then enjoyed a well prepared meal. I will have to go on a diet for the next 2 weeks after all the wonderful meals we have had. Tomorrow we hope to get to Marlo, about an hours drive from here.
