Batemans Bay Day 9

We were up by 8.30 this morning and the challenge for the day was to both of us ride into town.

We eventually got away by 10 o clock,  out of the park, onto the road for the first kilometre and a half before we got to the dedicated bike/walking path into town. The path is about 2 metres wide, fully sealled and flat. It crossed a couple of roads.

Rode to the Clyde river bridge where Evon waited while I rode across the bridge then back again. We found a nice little coffee shop overlooking the water and were able to watch the bridge operate to let a boat through.

After our coffee break we returned back to the van. Changed our clothes then headed down to a small shopping centre near the park. We then had a late lunch in the van.

Tomorrow we move on further up the coast to Kiama, so we have started to pack a few things away to make our departure a little easier.
