Genoa to Bermagui

Last night we stayed in a free camp area near Genoa along with 20 other vans. We had a very peaceful night. In bed by 8.15 with a good book (no tv reception)
We arose about 8 am had breakfast and hit the road by 9.30am. We visited the Bega Cheese Factory, museum and information office. No purchases. We then made the decision to go to Bermagui as neither of us had been there.
Arrived in Bermagui about 1.30pm and booked into the Bermagui Tourist Park.  Evon prepared lunch while I tendered to setting up the van.
After lunch we hopped in the car and did some site seeing. First up, the remains of the old wharf in Horse Shoe Bay, then to a lookout over Point Dickinson. The Blue Pool was our next stop. This was a man made swimming pool beneath a spectacular, rocky headland. It is a large tidal salt water pool. We then drove out to picturesque Wallaga Lake, a great place for picnics and all water sports. On the return trip we stopped at the amazing Camel Rock (use your imagination) then a visit to the local wharf area. Being a Sunday the area was quiet. We couldn't even find a coffee shop open, so it was back to the van for a coffee a la Evon. We decided to call it a day. An early tea, a bit of tv, then bed. Tomorrow we head for Batemans Bay.
