Bermagui to Batemans Bay

Bermagui to Batemans Bay

Today we were up about 8 am, showered, had breakfast, packed up and on the road by 10 am. Our destination for the day was Batemans Bay.
It was a nice day for travelling and about 20 km from Bermagui we took a detour to the little village of Tilba Tilba. Parked the caravan then wandered through the main street. There were all sorts of novelty shops, jewellery, candles, lollies, games, and a cheese factory. We spent about an hour or so just wandering. Had a coffee and a bite to eat then set off again for Batemans Bay.
I think it was about 2 pm when we pulled into the caravan park. This is the first caravan park which we bid for on travel auctions. $22 a night for a powered site instead of $35 with a minimum of 10 nights.
Set the van up and Evon did a load of washing. We had a coffee and roughly planned the next few days. Went for a quick walk over to the beach (Sunshine Bay), then back and wandered through the park. Back to our van, a late tea, a bit of tele then off to bed.
