We then went into the main shopping centre to buy some more supplies. Meat and veggies to roast for tea tonight and a few other bits and pieces.
Back to the van where we had lunch. We have decided to head south and do a couple of walks.
After lunch we set off down the road to Denham Beach, Surf Beach and Malua Bay. Our first stop was at Guerilla Bay where we did a 2.5 km loop walk to the headland at Burrewarra point.
From Guerilla Bay we drove through little towns of Tomakin and Mossy Point, before arriving at Broulee where our next challenge was. We started at Shark Bay where a short beach walk leads you to Broulee Island. A bit of a rock scramble to start with then a typical beach stroll. The walk featured a wonderful display of native plants and the area is renown for its marine birdlife. The walk was 3.5 km long and took us about 2 hours.
It was then back to the car for the short drive back to the caravan park.
Tonight we cooked a roast on the Baby Q. After reading the manual and preparing the food, it was time to cook. Meat on first, about 40 minutes latter the vegetables and another half hour it was hopefully ready.
We dished up, and surprise, surprise, it was a success. We look forward to many new adventure with our Baby Q
Washed the dishes a bit of tele then off to bed.
