Moving day today. We were up by 8 and on the road by 9.30 am. Back to the Pacific Highway and head north. Took a slight detour to Bulahdelah to buy some bread from the local bakery and to post a card.
Continued up the Pacific Highway to a rest area (4 mile hill) where we stopped for lunch and to discuss our destination.
Bonny Hills was strongly recommended by our neighbours in Anna Bay. Agreed that was our destination. (Bonny Hills is just south of Port Macquarie). Arrived at caravan park and reported to reception. After a walk around the park a site was chosen. We were only going to stay 2 nights but the boss was besotted with the park and we were staying 3 nights and I wouldn't be surprised if she extends our stay.
Put the van on a site and set up then sat back to relax and enjoy the spectacular view. We were soon joined by friendly neighbours. After an informal chat session we went our separate ways to prepare tea. We used their excellent camp kitchen bbq to cook our meal.
And as usual, it was tea, telly, then bed.
