The Entrance Day 3

Bike and walking day today.

 After a slow start to the day I set off on a short ride across the bridge through the caravan park I stayed in on my 2010 bike ride then back over the bridge down to the Surf Club then back to the van.

With Evon set to go we headed to the path around Tuggerah Lake.  We followed the path around the lake which was predominately flat but quite windy.

It was a perfect day for a ride,  sun shining and no wind. The path followed the shore line of the lake and numerous birdlife was observed.  We had a break at the top of the ride,  then a pleasant ride back to the van. A distance of 23km return.

We then had lunch (2pm), then set off on a short walk over the bridge and back,  then on to the pelican feeding again before returning to the van.

A very nice meal cooked in the Dream Pot (slow cooker), prepared before our ride this morning,  was enjoyed,  then telly and off to bed.

Tomorrow we may head south in the car into a few national parks.
