The Entrance Day 4

We were away by 10am this morning heading south keeping the ocean on our left.  Our first stop was Bateau Bay.

Parked the car and put our walking shoes on following the Coast Walking Track to Cracknet Lookout.  We covered 3.5km return on a path rated as moderate , generally uphill to the lookout so down hill on the return.

From Bateau Bay we continued along the Central Coast Highway buying bread for lunch at Forresters Beach then onto Terrigal where we ate lunch overlooking the bay, very picturesque. There were plenty of photo opportunities along the way.

Next we traveled down to Avoca Beach and the Avoca Beach Surf Lifesaving Club.  We took a small walk around the shore line and visited an old time cinema.

Copacabana was our final stop where we found the Captain Cook Lookout. A bit of history here and massive views of the shoreline.  We then decided to return to The Entrance getting back about 4.15pm.

We have had some wonderful weather and more to come so we have been told.

We organised our ingredients for Happy Hour and walked down to Pelican Point.  Found a bench overlooking Tuggerah Lake and experienced a nice sunset with pelicans gently gliding across the reflection of the sun's final rays.

Back to the van,  tea, telly and bed. The local market is on tomorrow.
