Bowen Day 1

A rough night last night. Evon had consumed something that severely disagreed with her. It certainly curtailed her activities for the whole day. She spent the day in bed.

I was up about 8.30, showered and had breakfast,  then attended to the various menial duties around the van.

After an early lunch and ensuring Evon was reasonably OK, I went for a bike ride.  I rode out onto the breakwater and back and then followed the coast down to the sailing club. From here I rode across to Queens Bay, a popular local beach. I then followed a bike path along the shore line, then onto the road around the golf course. I then found another bike path which led me to Edgecombe Heights, another popular local venue. The path was patterned cement which didn't make for a comfortable ride.

I then returned back to the van via road, a total of 25km over 3 hours including breaks.

A small improvement in the patient's condition. I have extended our stay here in expectation the boss will be back to normal.
