Evans Head to Brunswick Heads

We were up by 8 am this morning and it was still drizzling.  The rain was considerate in that it stopped while we packed the van up.

Checked out of the caravan park by 10am and headed for the Pacific Highway and 75km north to Brunswick Heads.

Booked in and set the van up then wandered into town.  Brunswick Heads has a great range of dining options,  nestled amongst the eateries were homewares and collectibles.  Stopped at the local bakery then around the corner found a nice spot for a coffee overlooking the creek.

We then took a walk along the banks of the river watching the pelicans and seagulls.  We found the marina which contains a number of vessels from fishing boats to yachts. A number of boats were lived in full time.  A fish processing plant completed the picture.

Back to the van as it was still drizzling,  picked up a magazine and spent the rest of the afternoon reading.

Weather forecast for tomorrow was very good so off and about again.
After tea it was telly and bed.
