Ravenswood Day 1

Another lazy day today - she's getting used to this lifestyle.  Up about 9am and went about our morning routine - shower then breakfast.

I decided to wash the car.  Well 3 hours later the job was done.  Got the gear ready,  hosed the car down and Greg from next door van came over for a chat soon joined by Glenese and Evon.  Washed half the car and Jack from the Mornington Peninsular came over  for a chat,  they had just arrived.  Finally finished the car and the front of the van where the fruit bats had left their "calling card". It was time for lunch.

Down to the Imperial Hotel for a meal where we joined up with Greg and Glenese. Had an enjoyable hour or so then back to the van via the old Catholic Church.

A restful afternoon then it was "Happy Hour " . We joined Greg and Glenese again for another enjoyable chat. We spotted the resident peacock but were not quick enough to get a photo,  also a wallaby hopping along behind the vans. A brush turkey jumped up on the table and tried to steal Glenese's prepared tea. Plenty to keep us entertained.

Back to the van and I started to pack up while Evon cooked tea. It was then tea, no telly then bed.  Tomorrow we are off to Charters Towers.
