We were up at a reasonable hour this morning and as we had over estimated the use of the toilet we had to find the local Dump Point to empty same. As we were in town we used the free hot showers at the Info Centre. We then returned to the van and rang our daughter, Nicole, to wish her a Happy birthday for today.
A late breakfast then a cleanup around the van, a little reading then it was time for lunch. In the car again and into town to check out a water tap where we can fill the caravan tanks up tomorrow. It was then a short trip to the Bishop's Lodge an historic house and heritage rose garden. Bishop's Lodge is a remarkable iron building constructed in 1889 as the official residence for the Anglican Bishop of the Riverina. After an hour or so of reading and observing it was back to the car.
We found a service station and fuelled up the car before returning to the van for coffee and cake. We were then invited across to share a campfire for Happy Hour. Tea cooked in the Baby Q then it was no telly then bed. Tomorrow we head for Deniliquin.
