This morning we walked down to Memorial Park to see a lot of old cars. Actually it was Heritage Day hosted by the Central Coast Historic Car Club Inc and the cars were immaculately presented. Gee, I had one of those, my grandfather drove one of those etc., all the memories flooded back.
We then bought lunch - a foot long roll from subway to take back to the van.
After lunch we took the Coast Highway from The Entrance to Noraville, turned right and headed for Norah Head Lighthouse. Being a Sunday and a nice day to boot, everyone and their dog were out. Found a car park and after a 1km walk we arrived at our destination. Very scenic area, popular for picnics and snorkeling.
We then drove through Toukley and left onto the Pacific Highway. We were looking for a cheese factory near Wyong. We found the factory but were a little disappointed however we found a chocolate shop in the same complex. We indulged in a couple of ice creams, I had chocolate of course but Evon had fig, honey and pistachio which she says was delicious.
We then returned to The Entrance and the van at 3pm and I decided to go for a bike ride while Evon relaxed with a good book. I did a 30km ride around the lake and back.
Back to the van where I showered, changed, tea, telly and bed.
