Mackay Day 2

We were up about 7.15am this morning,  dressed in bike riding gear and off to tackle the Bluewater Trail.  Drove into the city and parked the car at the supermarket car park.  Unloaded the bikes and onto the trail.

The Bluewater Trail is a shared pedestrian and bicycle pathway around the city directly linking local recreational facilities - Botanical Gardens, Sandfly Creek Environmental Walk, Catherine Freeman Walk, the three tiered Blue Water swimming facility,  Blue Water Quay and Iluka Park All Ability Playground.

Quite an enjoyable ride although we were lost twice.  After 20km we were back at the car.  Loaded the bike up then found a nice coffee shop to have a late breakfast. We then returned to the van, showered and dressed.

I then went to Bunnings while Evon relaxed reading. Back at the van I put my purchases to use. A tap in the shower waste water line, joiners to connect my waste hose more efficiently and a couple of other modifications.

After a stroll around the caravan park it was Happy Hour,  tea, telly and bed.
Tomorrow we relocate to Airlie Beach.
