Innisfail Day 2

Bit of slow start this morning after the big day yesterday. A few chores around the van,  doing yesterday's blog then an early lunch,

Early afternoon we drove into Innisfail and Coquette Point,  a high point to see the district,  its two rivers and the coastline.

We then backtracked to the northside of the river for a pretty drive to the Coconuts where the river meets the ocean and to Flying Fish Point.  Boat ramp, picnic area and caravan park at the river mouth.

We then headed back to the Bruce Highway and drove north to the Josephine Falls.  A very popular tourist attraction.

Back to Innisfail , stopping on the way at a roadside fruit stop to buy a paw paw, cantelope and pineapple,  all for $5. Then refueled the car and back to the van. Happy Hour , tea, telly then bed.
