Tambo Day 2

We were here for another day so we weren't in a hurry to get up.  It was 6 degrees this morning -COLD. The "boss" was complaining.

Once up, showered and fed we then put another load of washing in. About 12.30 we had lunch then decided to walk around the Barco River and the local wetlands.  A mix of birdlife,  pelicans,  ducks and various others.  In the paddock near the wetlands there were more kangaroos than you could poke a stick at.

Into town and the local coffee shop had a special - Devonshire Tea for $5. Went in to order but unfortunately they had sold out,  so back to the van for our own coffee and cake.

For tea tonight we ventured down to the local pub.  Excellent meals , Evon had the special which was corned silverside and vegies plus a sweet (lovely cheesecake) for $12.50. Real good value.

Walked back to the van for a cuppa,  telly then bed.

Tomorrow we venture further south.  If we travel 40km a day we will be home before school resumes.
